Its true.....the older you get, the quicker the time goes. I can't believe it's been since May since I posted a blog.
Life has been cruising by, and I've enjoyed the summer months, with no school (no, I am not a student). However, I must have thought I was on "summer break", because I really didn't stick much to a schedule. As fun as this was, I realized that I let a few things slide, one of which is this blog. This reminds me of just how easy it is to take things for granted. I can often assume that all will be there, when Im ready to pick it back up and move it forward. As we all know, this isn't necessarily true. In my experience, I have found that In order for me to be truly present in my life, I have to do a few things. First of which, is slowing down and taking time to meditate. When I do meditate, I feel an internal shift to appreciate the day and those that I come in contact with. This is not a simple task for me......I literally have to schedule it into my calendar.. However, when I do, I gain a new and open awareness on life. I realize what is important, and what is not. Meditation also helps me to not take life for granted, which apparently, is easy for me to do. This leads me to this blog.....it's now time for me to get back into action and do what brings me joy - to help others discover that by building a healthy relationship between living and dying, death and grief, we can all bring a bit of sunlight to our journey. So heres to taking the time to be present today! Enjoy and live life!
